The main unit also ensures lower total cost of ownership compared to conventional camera solutions. For instance it requires only one video management software (VMS) license instead of four. What´s more Zipstream with H.264/ H.265 significantly reduces bandwidth and storage requirements. And, with storage profile enabled, you´ll enjoy the optimal level of Zipstream for your video storage - regardless of your VMS.

For instance, it comes with AXIS Object Analytics preinstalled to detect, classify, track, and count humans and types of vehicles. This DLPU also delivers valuable metadata facilitating efficient forensic search capabilities in live or recorded video. With AXIS Sensor Metrics Dashboard preinstalled, you can gather information from connected devices including the integrated accelerometer sensor, as well as external Modbus sensors and GPS devices. Furthermore, this main unit includes a built-in USB port that’s prepared for future applications.
